A. Job Summary

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accurate tracking of project costs and revenues, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals. The role involves financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Success in this position is measured by the accuracy of financial data, timeliness of reports, and effective collaboration with internal teams. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity within the organization.

B. Essential Job Functions

Oversee the tracking of project costs by gathering and organizing financial data, including materials, labor, and other expenses.

Ensure accurate computation and recording of project costs, including reconciliation with budgets and conducting regular inventory checks at project sites.

Conduct variance analysis and cost projections to support decision-making and identify areas for financial improvement.

Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports, offering insights into project performance and financial health.

Review and validate project budgets, monitor actual performance, and address deviations promptly.

Collaborate with teams such as the Technical Services Group to ensure accurate cost forecasting aligned with financial objectives.

Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

C. Secondary Job Functions

Assist in internal and external audit preparations.

Support system and process improvements related to cost accounting and reporting.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide financial insights on project planning and execution.

D. Job Qualifications

Educational Attainment : BS in Accountancy

Work Experience : Minimum of 5 years in cost accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting, preferably in the real estate industry with a focus on horizontal projects.

Specific Skills :

Strong analytical skills in financial data interpretation and variance analysis

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Licenses / Certifications : Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Preferred
