Job Description :

  • Lead and supervise the contractor recruitment team through planning and implementation of programs and policies to steer team’s direction towards attainment of its goals
  • Set up a robust contractor recruitment team through effective sourcing channels and screening process
  • Draft, review and implement contractor recruitment policies governing all contractor accreditation procedures including setting of parameters for contractor’s selection and accreditation process
  • Work towards accreditation of efficient and reliable housing and land development contractors by thoroughly evaluating pre-qualified candidates and documents. May be required to conduct ocular inspections of prospective applicants’ projects and ensure conduct of orientation for qualified contractors
  • Must perform contractor management and retention strategies by closely monitoring satisfactory performance of accredited contractors
  • Collaborate with all concerned units within the company on matters pertaining to project planning, contractors’ awarding and over-all construction progress
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for submission to the Construction Logistics Group Head and concerned units
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities necessary to effectively recruit efficient and reliable housing and land development contractors Job Qualifications :
  • Graduate of any 4-year course preferably in the field of Civil Engineering, Business Management, Real Estate Management or equivalent
  • With 5 years of experience in housing and land development contractor recruitment and sourcing (2 years in a leadership role)
  • Considerable work exposure in the construction industry for a general contractor or owner’s side
  • Has established a wide network in the construction industry
  • Excellent skills in MS Office programs (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Well-versed in preparing reports
  • Assertive, smart and articulate
  • Hardworking and willing to extend work hours
  • Highly-organized and a team player
  • Willing to do site visits as required
