Team IntroductionThe Platform Events & Livestream Team is responsible for mounting brand campaign events, such as Super Brand Days, managing and maintaining the LazMall Channel, driving mechanics such as Brand Mega Offer (BMO), and growing the LazLive livestream platform, all of which support our brands and sellers realize business OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Platform Events & Livestream Lead to join our team. This role is crucial in driving our platform's event strategy and livestream operations, and will have people management responsibility over a high-performance team. The ideal candidate would have a proven track record in customer engagement, business planning, project management, and communications, with a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and brand partnerships. The Platform Events & Livestream Lead will play a key role in enhancing user engagement and brand presence through innovative and impactful platform events and livestreams.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Platform Events Management

  • Strategize and Execute Events : Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy covering Business as Usual (BAU) and key campaign moments in collaboration with the platform and brand partners
  • Partnership Collaboration : Work closely with Commercial teams, Marketing Solutions, and brand partners to design and implement sales campaigns that align with their goals and our platform’s objectives
  • Project Management : Oversee all aspects of event planning, including logistics, marketing, and post-event analysis
  • Performance Optimization and Analysis : Optimize and analyze event performance performance metrics to continuously improve brand executions

Livestream Operations

  • Livestream Strategy : Develop and implement strategic plans for both platform and user generated livestream content that drives engagement and sales
  • Community Management : Build and nurture the LazTalent (key opinion consumers community) through differentiated support throughout the presenter journey
  • Production Oversight : Oversee the end-to-end production of livestream events, including scheduling, content planning, and technical execution
  • Team Coordination : Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless livestream operations.
  • Budget Management : Manage livestream budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while delivering high-quality experiences
  • Performance Analysis : Analyze livestream performance metrics to continuously improve content and viewer engagement Job Requirements Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years working experience working with brands, preferably within the ecommerce or digital media industries
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, demonstrative of ability to prioritize and deliver on tight timelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to translate consumer insights and business objectives into an integrated on-site strategy
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data to insights
  • High attention to detail
  • Balance of both strategic and creative thinking, able to think long term and outside the box
  • Agile and able to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Requirements / Qualifications (good to have)

  • Proficiency / experience in livestreaming is a plus
  • Community management experience is a plus
