Job Highlights
Contract : Independent Contractor
Schedule : 8am to 5pm PST - CA Time
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural drawings and collaborate with designers to create structurally sound pool construction plans.
- Prepare structural calculations, construction drawings, and detailed engineering reports for luxury pools and related outdoor structures.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and other contractor documentation.
- Coordinate with U.S.-based project managers, contractors, and architects to align on technical requirements.
- Provide recommendations on structural materials and construction techniques suitable for high-end custom pools.
- Assist in problem-solving during construction phases and provide technical support as needed.
- Use engineering software and digital tools to model and validate structural designs.
- Attend virtual meetings and communicate proactively with stakeholders throughout all project phases.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in residential or commercial construction.Licensed Structural Engineer is strongly preferredFamiliarity with U.S. building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ACI, ASCE, etc.).Proficiency in structural analysis software and drafting tools (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).Experience working remotely with U.S.-based teams and clients.Strong English communication skills – written and verbal.Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.Kindly attached portfolio of previous projectsBenefits
