• Assists the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in monitoring compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its IRR, and other issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and relevant data protection laws.
• Participates in endorsing renewal of certifications and accreditation necessary for maintaining the required standards for data processing.
• Participates in privacy impact assessments relative to data-processing systems or activities, projects, and programs of Transcom, its affiliates, and its subsidiaries.
• Assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in providing recommendations regarding complaints and exercising the rights of the data subject. Data Breach Management
• Ensures proper security incident and Data Breach Management of Transcom, its affiliates, and its subsidiaries including preparation and submission of reports to the National Privacy Commission.
• Serves as an alternate contact person of the National Privacy Commission or authorities concerning matters of data privacy and information security.
• Informs, cultivate awareness, and conducts training on data privacy and data protection within Transcom, its affiliates, and its subsidiaries including relevant laws, rules, regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission.
• Coordinates cooperate and seek advice from the National Privacy Commission regarding matters of data privacy and information security.
• Develops, reviews, and/or revises policies, procedures, guidelines, forms, projects, vendor agreements, and programs of Transcom, its affiliates, and its subsidiaries relating to data privacy and data protection.

• Have strong documentation skills
• Have communications, organization, and implementation skills
• Have strong analytical skills
• Enjoy / thrive on teamwork and results oriented
• Be highly flexible and willing to partner with Transcom employees at all levels to get the job done
• Have good knowledge in standard MSOffice applications and the ability to stay organized
• Fluent in English (both written and oral) communication.
• DPO ACE Level 1 Certified or its equivalent
• At least three (3) years’ experience as Compliance Officer for Privacy, preferably in a BPO environment.
