Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Designs mechanical systems, components, and assemblies based on customer specifications and project requirements.
• Prepares detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and bills of materials (BOM) using CAD tools.
• Evaluates and selects materials, components, and manufacturing methods to ensure cost efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality to ensure designs are feasible and meet safety and performance standards.
• Conducts design reviews and risk assessments to mitigate potential failures.
• Assists in prototyping, testing, and validation of new products and processes.
• Provides technical support and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously seeks improvements in design and production processes for enhanced productivity and efficiency.
• Works and collaborates with global team members in the Engineering division at the Netherlands HQ.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
