Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to understand the market, product, and consumer trends in key sectors such as quick-service restaurants (QSR), retail (including red meat and poultry categories), and food service distribution.
- Leverage insights by analyzing trends and assembling key data, which will be used in formal presentations to support internal product development activities and help customers identify new product opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, industry news, and macroeconomic shifts to support internal product development activities and help customers identify new product opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive market feasibility studies to evaluate the potential success of new products, services, or market initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate market research findings and feasibility study results.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging food trends and industry innovations, and collaborate with Sales, Culinary, and R&D teams to conceptualize new food product ideas that align with both customer needs and the latest market trends.
- Provide a general marketing and ideation presentation to customers.
- Monitor competitor activities, including new product launches, marketing initiatives, and manufacturing capabilities, to stay informed on industry developments and identify strategic opportunities for market expansion and customer engagement.
- Design, implement, and manage customer incentive programs such as rebates, discounts, and loyalty schemes to drive sales and customer retention.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of customer schemes and provide recommendations for improvement based on performance data.
