DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The Project Engineer will ensure the optimal performance of an organization's overall operations, which include;
Drive Operational Excellence
Set the pace by guiding a team's effort to ensure the right processes are being utilized in the rightmanner.
Supervise / Manage and direct operations to achieve business targets.Make decisions and recommendations when the division is faced the operational difficulties.Assist in developing or updating standard operating procedures for all business operationalactivities.
Ensure team follows standard operating procedures for all operational functions.Supervise and Gude operations team on business operations and problem solving skillsRecommending quality assurance programsClient Engagement
Interacting with both internal and external clients to identify current processes that are in place andteaching them about best practices and improvements.
Build strong relationship by addressing customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.Project Management
Helping to plan, design, and implement new operational processes.The Project Supervisor is
instrumental in process improvement of projects from start to finish.
Maintain Strong Industry Knowledge
Staying abreast of current trends, pricing, and new technology in their industry aids operationsconsultants in their evaluation and recommendation of new processes.
Understand business challenges and translate them into process / technical solutionsLead Team
As a team leader, must oversee the team member's work performance, offering guidance and advicewhere needed and providing necessary feedback to management.
Assist in employee appraisals, promotions, compensation, and termination based on theperformance review of a team member.
Provide operational support and guidance to staff.Conduct regular meetings with team to discuss about issues, concerns, updates, etc.Accounting and Finance
Assist in developing operating and capital budget for projects.Monitor and control expense according to the allotted budget.Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
In-charge of all the service engineers, foreman and leadman.Receive job order (J.O.)from Service Manager for works that are related to outside service product.
Communicate with the customer representative in charge of the service activity to obtain all necessaryinformation that will need in the planning activities and also as an initial communication.
Confer with the production planner for the availability of manpower, tools, equipment, test instrumentsand transportation services
Plans and prepares production schedules for project implementation; draws up master schedule to
establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet delivery dates according to sales
commitment or customer needs.
Analyze equipment specifications, site condition, working condition, scope of activities and allotted timeof completion so that the appropriate work method and work schedule will be design.
Prepare list of all necessary documents, work complying manpower, applicable and fitted tools,equipment and test instrument properly check and tested.
Submit the list to the production planner to be ready and to be dispatched as schedule.Prior to every mobilization he is tasked to assemble the team and introduce the assign fieldleader / foreman / leadman together with his official authority with discussing the company standard
dispatching procedures and mandatory guidelines.
Daily monitoring with the field leader / foreman / leadmen to update the status of the ongoing projectswith proper documentation and approve their several requests including manpower and overtime
request.
Constantly communicating with the customer representative reporting the project development and tohear his side and observation.
As necessary perform site visit of the on-going project for purposes of validation or meeting with theclient either requested or personal action.
Check, review and approve service reports related to the outside service project and assure its earlysubmission to the customer as it is necessary with respect to the service work rendered.
Plan for the training, seminars and other program needed that will further improve own personal andteam member capability, capacity, skills, work ethics, character and personality.
Source out for new technology, equipment, test instruments, tools and machines that will further boostthe product that being handled.
Assist the sales team either in the office / plant or outside in the product presentation to educate,enlighten or understand our work method and procedure in relation to the product being handled.
