Investment Data Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

The Investment Data Analyst will serve as part of a Global Data team that is responsible for collecting, organizing, and cleansing investment data from Institutional Asset Managers. Company is the storefront window for the Institutional Investing community, and Data team discovers, collects, curates and cleanses comprehensive data from Asset Managers that clients and prospects care about.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a Global team focused on building and maintaining databases to support industry-leading investing due diligence platform
• Perform data updates & maintenance on the database
• Communicate with Asset Managers to encourage data updates and resolve issues
• Provide timely & accurate answers to client inquiries
• Monitor rates of data completion and timeliness, and work to improve overall data completeness
• Conduct regular database quality audits to measure the health of datasets and develop strategies for improving operations to ensure data integrity
• Receive regular training from industry experts within the Data team
• Participate in Global initiatives to collect new datasets and devise strategies for enhanced data collection

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics, Master’s degree preferred;
• Experience Preferred: 3-7 years, including some experience working with investment data;
• CFA or CAIA, or equivalent job experience preferred;
• Must be amenable for a project employment
• Must be willing to render 3PM-12MN shift
• Excellent English communication skills, both in oral and written forms;
• Fantastic customer service skills with a passion for solving client problems;
• Strong attention to detail, carefully monitoring the accuracy of your own and others’ work;
• Quick learner, willing to test and implement new tactics;
• Proficiency in MS Office Tools – Excel, Word, and Outlook, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
