Job Description
Use system analysis and design techniques to achieve business objectives
Gather and assess user requirements, evaluate options and determine an appropriate solution
Prepare project charter including objective, benefit, user requirements, scope, risks, estimated budget, implementation approach, migration plan, training plan.
Prepare project implementation and release plans and lead the projectimplementation
Prepare and present project proposals to project sponsors and team members
Monitor progress of project implementation and prepare project status reports
Prepare detailed system design including reports, interfaces, database design, entity relationship diagram, data dictionary, wireframes and functional specifications
Conduct system functional testing and validate findings from QA and User testing
EDUCATIONAL PROFILE
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, ECE, or College Degree
Completed a course in Object-oriented Systems Analysis and Design
Completed a course in Project Management
COMPETENCY PROFILE
Work Experience:
Must have at least 3 years IT industry experience demonstrating ability to plan, manage and deliver complex projects
Acted as Systems Analyst in the full Systems Development Life Cycle of enterprise-wide web-based application systems
Experience in implementing systems for a hospital would be an advantage
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
Skilled in using modeling tools such as Unified Modeling Language (use case, class diagram, sequence diagram), Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), etc.
Knowledgeable in Unix and Windows OS, Oracle 11 G, SQL Server 2012
Familiarization with Java would be an advantage
Familiarization with agile methodology and SCRUM process
Knowledge in the use of planning and documentation tools such as MS Project, Visio, Powerpoint
Knowledgeable in IT Security and Quality Management
Proficient in English with good communication, presentation and documentation skills
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
