Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems throughout the school campus.- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems and recommend appropriate solutions.- Repair and replace faulty components or parts, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently and effectively.- Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed.- Communicate effectively with school staff to provide updates on repair progress, recommend solutions, and answer any questions they may have.- Respond to emergency HVAC repairs as needed.- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing HVAC repairs and maintenance.Requirements:- Relevant technical training or certification in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair.- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.- Excellent communication skills.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Physical Demands:- Must be able to lift up to 25 kg.- Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat.
