Power BI Developer (Full-time, 100% Remote)

As a Power BI Developer at a rapidly growing firm, your contribution would be at the core of developing the enterprise level solutions for resolving real-world business challenges at global scale which the success of the global operations would depend on. Your contribution would be compensated with competitive wage and benefits. To be successful in this role, you are expected to perform the following responsibilities and meet the requirements.

Responsibilities:
▪ Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to understand the business
requirements and deliver appropriate visual reports and dashboards by using Power BI
▪ Connect to various data sources as needed for developing necessary reports
▪ Strong proficiency in using DAX queries
▪ Ensure the accuracy of the deliverables through quality assurance practice
▪ Develop strong understanding on business requirements in order to create necessary calculation
logics for various metrics
▪ Run queries to check any report/data issues for punctual reporting and escalation
▪ Schedule BI reports/dashboard and conduct performance tuning

Requirements:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
▪ 5+ years of experience in related fields with one or more BI tools + experience in Power BI is
mandatory
▪ Ability to explain and elaborate complexed ideas effectively to various stakeholders
▪ Experience in ETL development using tools such as ADF, SSIS
▪ Experience with Qlik Replicate
▪ Experience in handling large datasets, relational database and distributed systems
▪ Experience with Azure, AWS or other mainstream cloud computing platforms
▪ Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
▪ Excellent project and time management skills
▪ Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
▪ Proficiency in using collaborative development tools such as git, Jira, DevOps, etc.
▪ Ability to work independently or with a group
▪ Must be fluent in English
▪ Authorized to work in the Philippines without any restrictions

Location / Compensation / Benefits

▪ Monday to Friday, 4:00pm to 1:00am US Eastern Time (5AM-2PM PH Time)
▪ Location: Anywhere in the Philippines
