PIM Technical Lead

Job Description:

PRODUCT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (PIM) TECHNICAL LEAD

Responsibilities:

• Write, review and document code/config ensuring requirements are met

• Implementing best practices and coding standards.

• Code quality assurance.

• Control technical debts.

• Ensure code review process healthiness.

• Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical issues, problems, and challenges.

• Delegating work and assignments to team members.

• Conducting audits to identify areas of improvement.

• Assist in recruitment of skilled developers through challenge evaluations and/or technical interviews.

• Assist in onboarding and/or technical training of developers.

• Promote collaboration and engagement.

• Liaising with SA, team members, management, and stakeholders to ensure project tasks are completed as per the agreed timeline.

• Identify technical risks and form contingency plans as soon as possible.

• Responsible for developers getting started as quickly as possible and with the best possible conditions within the focus area.

• Be a mentor and enable new team members in the project to understand existing technical processes by scheduling training sessions and/or meetings.

• Motivate and encourage the team to give their best, especially during the time when they are pressured with high targets.

• Lead development implementation throughout project delivery

Tasks (Focus on Technical):

• Technical code review - main owner

• Ownership for creating release packages, release notes, and deployment of releases,

• Ownership to adhere to the agreed release process including naming conventions, version control, code/configurations check-in conventions, etc.

• Support Test Lead

• Actively participate in the development of projects.

• Guide colleagues through technical issues and challenges.

• Actively assist in recruitment through technical exam evaluations and interviews.

• Mentor, coach, and guide colleagues to help them get up to speed technically.

• Can work with SA for proof of concepts and/or prototyping

• Help/handhold colleagues to articulate progress of tasks and/or get clarifications

Tasks (Focus on Scrum):

• Standup (lead daily technical scrums)

• Sprint Lead – Sprint breakdown, Jira board maintenance, support in sprint planning

• Support Test Lead

• Actively participate in the development of projects.

• Mentor, coach, and guide colleagues to help them get up to speed on the way of working within the project

• Can be the point of contact from the project for partner coordination

• Help/handhold colleagues to articulate progress of tasks and/or get clarifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related Engineering or IT field of study

• Working experience as a technical lead

• At least 7 years of experience working with C# and .NET or .NET Core development.

• (Mandatory) At least 1-year of extensive experience working with the technology used in specific business units. - PIM – Inriver iPMC
