22 hours ago Be among the first 25 applicantsReports To : Board of Directors / President & CEOJob Type : Full-Time, Executive LevelRole Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Rural Bank Director to lead the overall operations, drive sales performance, and spearhead business growth initiatives across our Pampanga and Bohol branches.

The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, build strong stakeholder relationships, and execute sustainable strategies to expand our rural banking footprint and community impact in the region.Key Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership & Growth : Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to grow the bank's client base, loan portfolio, and deposit base in both Pampanga and Bohol.Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to drive financial inclusion and rural economic development.Lead business development and marketing strategies aligned with rural banking trends and local economic needs.Operations Oversight : Oversee day-to-day banking operations across both offices, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence.Monitor KPIs for all departments (lending, treasury, customer service, back office) and implement corrective actions where needed.Lead the implementation of digital transformation initiatives and process improvements.Set and track sales targets, manage performance, and coach teams to meet deposit and lending goals.Maintain and grow key client relationships, including farmers, MSMEs, cooperatives, and local government units (LGUs).Represent the bank at public functions, industry events, and in discussions with regulators and stakeholders.People Management : Provide strategic direction and leadership to branch managers and department heads in Pampanga and Bohol.Build a high-performance culture through strong mentorship, training, and accountability.Promote employee engagement, talent retention, and succession planning.Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure full compliance with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws, and internal policies.Oversee risk management practices, including credit, operational, and market risks.Lead internal and external audit preparations and responses.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related field; MBA or related postgraduate degree preferred.At least 10 years of progressive experience in banking, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record in rural or microfinance banking, with success in driving growth and profitability.Deep understanding of the Philippine banking regulations, rural economies, and BSP standards.Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills.Willingness to travel between and be based in Pampanga and Bohol offices as needed.Preferred Traits : Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for financial inclusion.Strong network in the local banking, agricultural, and business communities.Experience with digital banking solutions is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Filipino.Seniority levelSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionAccounting / Auditing, Sales, and Business DevelopmentIndustriesBanking, Human Resources Services, and Outsourcing and Offshoring ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Confidential by 2xGet notified about new Bank Director jobs in Pampanga, Central Luzon, Philippines.We're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
