PHP Application Support

Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer who will be working in support of a PHP application. You will be working with current application support and reacting to P1 / P2 / P3 events.

We're looking for someone who is highly adaptable and a natural problem solver with a strong technical background and great interpersonal skills. We expect that you can communicate easily and spontaneously in a clear and detailed manner. You must be able to write technical documentation.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• You have good experience in using Ansible for processes automation.
• You have an advance experience in Linux, GIT, Jenkins (CI).
• You have a very good knowledge of PHP + Drupal 6/7, MySQL - must have!
• You're courageous of email/written contact with the client.
• You like investigating and problem-solving issues.
• You speak English on at least a B2 level.
• Excellent in writing documentation.
• You must be flexible and able to adapt graveyard work shift, including a rendering of overtime when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer focus, and ability to work with both technical and non-technical people.
• Self-motivated, passionate, ambitious, and primarily you have pride in what you create.
• You’re capable to work independently with little supervision.

Your Role and Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and replying to client's support requests promptly;
• Checking system logs;
• Fixing issues in database and PHP/Drupal system;
• Preparing root cause analysis for reported bugs;
• Reporting bugs to the development team for more complex bugs and issues.

Nice to have:

• Proficient knowledge of PHP preferably with the framework / CMF: Drupal (we use versions 6 and 7 in the project).
• Knowledge of managing Linux servers is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ansible and other tools supporting the administration and monitoring of servers will be a plus.
• Experience in developing API for SPA application.
• Experience in using GIT and Git Flow.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
