The role with us
- The Payroll Consultant role will be accountable for a number of payroll related activities including processing of requests, liaising with employees regarding overpayments and act as an escalation point for all payroll related queries from HR Direct.
What you'll work on
In this diverse and challenging role you’ll apply a dual lens in the work that you perform. Your key focus will be assisting with the execution of the payroll strategy (including vendor arrangements) in alignment with the company strategy, supporting growth and positively impacting business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Process and review requests for retrospective payment changesReceive, investigate and process request for off cycle paymentsCompile and submit 3rd party pay reportsFacilitate repayment plans with employees / people leaders for overpaymentsSupport the payroll audit process in both external and internalProcessing of payroll transactions within agreed SLA’sReceive and process requests for manual adjustments within SLA’sProcessing of Global Mobility allowances within SLA’sPayroll testing and analysis of payroll resultsManage and respond to payroll enquiry escalations from HR Direct Tier 1 teamWork with the Global Payroll team to identify opportunities for improvement across policy and processTo be successful in the role, you'll bring skills and experience in :
Relevant business and / or industry experience across payroll processing and reportingProven experience in managing multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work under time pressure and with competing prioritiesAbility to work with teams effectively and with stakeholdersWritten and oral communications and presentation skills resulting in the provision of quality documentationAbility to work in a dynamic / fast paced environmentExposure to SAP and Workday is highly desirable
