Engineering Risk Management (ERM) is hiring three Civil Drafters to join our growing team. You’ll contribute to

practical, well-considered designs for public infrastructure projects across NSW, from early concepts through to IFC.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the kind of person who :

• Prepare high-quality civil drawings including plans, long sections, cross sections, and construction details  using AutoCAD and / or Civil 3D
• Draft road geometry, kerb and gutter, culverts, pits, utility alignments, and stormwater layouts in accordance with TfNSW and local council standards
• Collaborate with engineers and design managers to interpret design intent and produce coordinated constructable documentation
• Apply and maintain CAD standards across all deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Assist with drawing registers, QA reviews, and document control
• Support integration of survey data, utility inputs, and geotechnical models into drawings
• Participate in the internal improvement of drafting processes

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who : 3–10 years of experience in civil drafting projects Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Familiarity with TfNSW and local council design standards is desirable. Experience preparing construction-ready drawing sets and working in multidisciplinary teams Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently or collaboratively A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to project needs Diploma or Certificate-level qualification in civil drafting or engineering (or equivalent)
