Job Description

The Senior ESG Officer will focus on developing and establishing the organization's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) governance in line with international standards.

The role involves advising on the development of the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), managing ESG-related data, KPIs, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.

The officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, provide capacity training, and support business continuity, aiming to enhance transparency and align with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company goals for a sustainable energy future.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related fields; Master's degree preferred

8-10 years of experience in ESG compliance, project management, reporting, or database management, preferably in the energy sector

Strong knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and ESG reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD)

Experience with environmental and social management systems (ESMS) and reporting tools

Experience in environmental assessments (EIA / ESIA, biodiversity studies, etc.)

Willing to be based in Gapan, Nueva Ecija

Willing to accept a project-based employment
