Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain predictive models and machine‑learning solutions supporting business use cases.
• Build, evaluate, and optimize forecasting models, including time series models and machine‑learning‑based predictors.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Work within the Databricks environment to build scalable data pipelines and automated workflows as data engineer leveraging Python language
• Ensure proper governance, reliability, and documentation of analytical models and code.
• Deploy models and applications within Azure-based infrastructure.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically,7-10 years of relevant work experience in industry.
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
• knowledge of basic statistical concepts such as correlation, confidence interval, etc.,
• familiarity with data science libraries in Python — SciPy, scikit-learn,
• understanding of linear regression (Ordinary Least Squares, ElasticNet, Ridge Regression) and forecasting methods using machine learning,
• knowledge of SQL,
• knowledge of time series forecasting methods.

Other Qualifications/Skillsets:

• familiarity with the Databricks environment (workflows, jobs),
• familiarity with the Azure environment (Azure Key Vault, Function Apps, Storage Accounts),
• knowledge of PySpark,
• ability to write object-oriented code.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
