Retail Sales Group Analyst

Job Description

• The Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven decisions, ensuring the organization's strategies are effective and aligned with business goals.
• Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making processes, improve business strategies, and solve problems within the Retail Sales organization
• Gather data from internal and external sources, including databases, reports, and industry trends, as needed.
• Analyze large sets of data using various tools and systems.
• Identify patterns, correlations, and trends to support business strategies
• Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and other stakeholders.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on findings to drive business performance.
• Work with other teams to understand business challenges and objectives.
• Develop and evaluate potential solutions using data-driven methodologies.
• Assist in the formulation of strategies and forecasts.
• Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend improvements.
• Automate data collection and analysis processes for faster reporting.
• Analyze complex reconciliation tasks.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies / fraudulent transactions
• Liaise with key stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Translate complex data findings into understandable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Maintain proper documentation for data sources, analysis processes, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word or similar
• Knowledge of statistical tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
