Job descriptionSummary: A leading lifestyle retail company with a diverse portfolio across eyewear, beauty, and café concepts is seeking a Senior Merchandising Manager to drive sales performance, inventory optimization, and in-store execution across all channels. This role plays a critical part in shaping the brands product strategy by aligning assortments, pricing, and merchandising initiatives with customer needs, market trends, and commercial objectives. The manager will lead data-driven decision-making while collaborating closely with retail, e-commerce, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches and sustained growth. Responsibilities: Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity to guide merchandising and assortment decisions. Lead sales forecasting for new collections, product launches, and promotions in partnership with demand planning, marketing, and channel leaders. Develop and manage assortment strategies across all eyewear categories (optical, sun, accessories), identifying gaps and growth opportunities by channel and store. Rationalize assortments using ABC analysis, location-based performance, and SKU-level insights. Partner with product development and marketing to align hero products and newness with seasonal campaigns and brand priorities. Oversee accuracy and maintenance of product databases, item codes, and SKU performance tracking. Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to develop and optimize planograms that support sales targets, customer profiles, and inventory levels. Review pricing architecture and recommend pricing strategies based on competitive benchmarks, margin goals, and customer expectations. Align with marketing on promotional strategies to improve sell-through, inventory health, and seasonal performance. Work cross-functionally with retail operations, e-commerce, marketing, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of launches, campaigns, and pricing updates. Lead regular cross-functional check-ins to align on product priorities, timelines, and performance. Manage, mentor, and develop the merchandising team, ensuring consistent execution of merchandising strategies aligned with brand and business goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Fashion/Retail Management, or a related field 5+ years of merchandising experience in retail, preferably within fashion, eyewear, or lifestyle brands Strong expertise in sales analysis, assortment planning, and pricing strategy Solid understanding of retail operations and customer behavior across channels Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools Highly analytical, organized, and collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills Knowledge of eyewear trends and customer needs is a plus Work Setup: Hybrid (minimum of 3 days onsite depending on business needs) Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday Location: Mandaluyong City By applying, you give consent to collect, store, and/or process personal and/or sensitive information for recruitment and employment, may it be internal to Cobden & Carter International and/or to its clients.
