About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable Integration Architect or Integration Lead to design, lead, and deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions. This role will focus on API-driven and event-based integrations, working closely with global teams and business stakeholders to enable seamless data and system connectivity across cloud and on-premises environments.
If you have a solid background in Java, RESTful APIs, and integration platforms—and are looking to grow in a solution architecture or leadership track—this is a great opportunity. Exposure to middleware tools like WSO2, Azure Logic Apps, Boomi, or similar is highly desirable. Training and upskilling on modern platforms may be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, reusable integration solutions based on modern architectural standards.
Lead implementation of system integrations across cloud and on-prem platforms.
Define and enforce integration patterns, coding standards, and technical best practices.
Guide and mentor developers; delegate and oversee technical tasks within integration projects.
Collaborate with global teams, clients, and cross-functional units to align technical design with business goals.
Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables across the project lifecycle.
Document technical designs and maintain clear, readable integration artifacts.
Continuously identify areas for improvement and help drive innovation in delivery processes.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong experience in Java development, particularly for backend or integration-related projects.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design, HTTP methods, and common API patterns.
Hands-on experience with exposing and consuming APIs (REST and / or SOAP).
Familiarity with at least one version control system (e.g., Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeCommit, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; experience working with distributed or global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following :
WSO2, Apigee, Dell Boomi, Tibco, Azure Logic Apps, Workato, SnapLogic, Jitterbit, Talend, WebMethods, Informatica (non-ETL modules).
Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, API gateways, and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of messaging protocols (e.g., JMS, FTP, SMTP) and RDBMS / SQL.
Certifications in any integration platform (e.g., WSO2, Azure, Apigee) are a plus.
Prior experience in IT consulting, systems integration, or client-facing delivery roles is an advantage.
