Position Title: Senior Electrical Estimator
Work Set-up: Work From Home
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PHT
Salary: Php 70,000 – Php 100,000
Holidays: NSW AU Holidays

We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially driven Senior Electrical Estimator to support a leading Australian electrical construction company delivering large-scale electrical infrastructure and major project solutions.

This role plays a critical part in the company’s project acquisition and delivery cycle, ensuring that major electrical construction projects are accurately estimated, commercially viable, and strategically positioned to secure successful tenders.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical construction experience, advanced estimating expertise, and excellent analytical capabilities. You will work closely with project stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to develop accurate and competitive project estimates while identifying potential risks, cost opportunities, and commercial considerations.

We are looking for someone technically strong, accountable, and solutions-driven—someone who takes ownership of outcomes and consistently delivers high-quality estimates that support the company’s project success.

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Electrical Estimator would be:
Estimating & Project Cost Analysis
• Analyse major electrical construction projects to produce detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Break down project scope into labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor components.
• Develop structured cost models and project budgets aligned with project requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documentation and cost reports for internal review and submission.

Risk Assessment & Commercial Evaluation

• Identify commercial risks, scope gaps, and pricing uncertainties within project estimates.
• Develop contingency strategies and ensure risk considerations are incorporated into pricing.
• Provide commercial insights to improve project viability and competitiveness.

Supplier & Subcontractor Coordination
• Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Assess supplier proposals to ensure competitive pricing and scope alignment.
• Maintain relationships with industry partners to support accurate estimating.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
• Prepare detailed estimate reports and tender documentation for stakeholders.
• Present cost assumptions, breakdowns, and risk considerations during internal reviews.
• Ensure estimating documentation is accurate, structured, and professionally presented.

Estimating Leadership & Quality Assurance
• Review and verify estimates prepared within the team for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior estimators.
• Ensure all estimating outputs meet company quality standards and project requirements.

Performance & Tender Success
• Take ownership of estimating performance including tender conversion rates and secured project outcomes.
• Contribute to strategic project selection and pricing decisions.
• Continuously refine estimating processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and success rates.

Qualifications as a Senior Electrical Estimator

• Strong background in electrical construction or electrical contracting.
• Demonstrated experience preparing project estimates for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within Australian construction environments is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and commercial thinking skills.
• Experience preparing technical reports and tender documentation.
• Ability to assess project scope, risk, and cost variables effectively.
• Strong communication skills when collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
• High attention to detail when working with complex project data.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tenders and deadlines.
