Job Description This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant with strong social media and creative skills to manage day-to-day social media operations and support the execution of an existing marketing strategy. This role is ideal for someone who can translate marketing goals and audience insights into engaging, high-quality content while maintaining consistency across platforms.
The primary objective is to take ownership of social media management, allowing leadership to focus on higher-level initiatives such as email campaigns, paid advertising, and overall strategy.
• Manage and maintain social media channels across platforms
• Plan, schedule, and publish content based on the marketing strategy
• Create engaging posts, captions, graphics, and simple video content
• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages when appropriate
• Track performance and suggest improvements for reach and engagement
• Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy for social media content
• Develop creative concepts and content ideas aligned with campaigns
• Assist with email marketing and advertising campaigns
• Support tracking of marketing performance and campaign results
• Organize content calendars and marketing materials
Requirements
• Experience managing social media for a brand or business
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills
• Familiarity with content scheduling tools and analytics platforms
• Basic understanding of email marketing and digital advertising
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and follow a marketing strategy
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Good communication, time management, and reliability
• Interest in learning broader digital marketing skills such as email marketing, ads, and performance tracking
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
• Familiarity with email marketing tools
• Basic knowledge of digital advertising and marketing analytics
• Ability to follow a marketing strategy and execute consistently
