About the Role
•Ensure systems are delivered with high quality, minimal defects, and controlled production risks.
• Establish and continuously improve testing frameworks, standards, and processes.
• Manage testing scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to support successful project outcomes.
• Provide assurance that functional and non-functional requirements are validated against defined business needs.
- Establish a standardized testing methodology, including test strategy, test planning, test case design, execution, and defect governance.
- Define and enforce quality gates across SIT, UAT, NFT, regression, and production validation.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, and Business SMEs to ensure completeness of requirements and test coverage.
- Drive test environment readiness, including data preparation, environment coordination, and schedule management.
- Ensure comprehensive test scenario and test case creation aligning to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Validate accuracy and completeness of test metrics e.g., test cases executed, passed/failed, blockers).
- Manage defect lifecycle, ensuring timely triage, prioritization, and resolution with development teams.
- Evaluate and recommend testing tools, automation opportunities, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee UAT governance, providing guidance, training, and support to Business SMEs.
- Track and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project managers and key stakeholders.
- Facilitates regular reporting reviews with stakeholders
- Provide evidence for audit, compliance, and governance requirements as needed.
- Support production deployment and post‑go-live validation, including hypercare defect management.
Recommend process improvements to enhance system quality, stability, and user experience.
