1.Established, develops and implements environmental guidelines, policies, policies and procedures as ISO requirements.
2.Formulate, implements assesses ESH Programs and conducts environmental / safety audits / Inspections.
3.Act as Trainer in ESH training and seminar.
4.Attend to ESH requirements of the company including the application / securing the necessary permits / license and renewal.
5.Keep abreast on the requirements of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) on the latest technology in the prevention, control and abatement of pollution and occupational hazards.
6.Maintain liaison with the city / provincial / municipal or local pollution control officer.
7.Responsible in attending to the requirements of the company prior to construction and installation of pollution source equipment (PSE), and pollution control facilities (PCF), including the monitoring of their installation or construction.
8.Fulfilling the functions of PCO as provided under Section 5 and 7 of DAO 91-26. Aside from the duties and responsibilities of the PCO ensures that the company complied with all applicable DENR and LLDA regulations.
9.Planning and importing pollution prevention control and waste minimization program.
10.Facilitating compliance to applicable environmental legislations, rules and regulations.
11.Reporting within reasonable time to the DENR or relevant regulatory bodies any breakdown of any pollution control facilities and other required submissions.
12.Performs other related work as required.
