What You’ll Do
Training & Capability Building
- Design and deliver engaging training programs on U.S. and Canadian accounting fundamentals, tax, and technical skills for new hires and existing team members
- Coach learners through structured feedback on both technical competencies and professional (soft) skills
- Ensure trainers are certified and capable of delivering all TOA Skill modules
- Maintain a well-organized, reusable repository of learning resources and materials
- Track, manage, and submit training compliance and reporting requirements
Continuous Improvement & Best Practice
- Collaborate with the team to enhance training content, courses, and delivery methods
- Identify and implement initiatives that improve learning effectiveness and operational outcomes
- Stay current with North American accounting standards and industry trends and proactively share insights
Leadership, Stakeholders & Culture
- Demonstrate strong self‑leadership and accountability for deliverables
- Champion TOA and TOA Academy’s brand and values across the business
- Partner with stakeholders including TOA Academy, Talent, Sales, CRM, PSMs, and leadership teams
- Monitor and report on key learning metrics (LNPS, LSAT, and other success measures)
- Actively participate in TOA Global and TOA Academy initiatives and internal networks
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or higher (CPA preferred)
- 1-3+ years’ experience in public accounting or practice (North American exposure strongly preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of U.S./Canadian accounting and tax compliance
- Experience in adult learning or training delivery is highly advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- High level of comfort with technology and digital learning tools
- Willingness to work on a North American (US) night shift
