Our Immigration Case Management System is designed to simplify the complexities of immigration law by offering powerful tools for case tracking, document management, and client communication.

We seek a skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated engineer with hands-on skills. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding data extracts from third-party software, analyzing them, and planning and executing a migration to onboard the customer on the CampLegal Platform.

Responsibilities Include:

• Generating effective reports from third-party systems for required data files.
• Understanding data, identifying data quality-related issues, and coming up with creative solutions for data transformations.
• Building and maintaining database migration scripts.
• Building integrations using third-party APIs to build datastore.
• Develop effective migration strategies.
• Proving migration reports to customers.
• Acquiring an in-depth knowledge of the platform and its internal workings.
• Researching tickets from support, performing root cause analysis, and writing up tickets for the engineering team.
• Working with customers to explain the migration reports and provide workarounds for issues due to data quality.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong database skills.
• SQL expertise.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Expertise in understanding various data.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in Java, Python, and other scripting languages is a plus.
• A software engineering background with a strong database foundation is preferred.
• Strong communications skill in order to interact with clients.
