Location: MOA, Pasay City

Work Set Up: Hybrid (3x per week) | Day Shift


Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Controller to support finance operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves managing month-end close activities, financial reconciliations, and process improvements, while ensuring strong governance and compliance with accounting standards.


The ideal candidate will have exposure to investment banking or financial services, with the ability to drive efficiency, enhance controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end close activities, including validation of financial transactions and ledger entries
  • Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation in finance operations
  • Assess and address control gaps, ensuring appropriate controls are in place
  • Maintain proper documentation of processes and controls
  • Liaise with Technology teams to resolve accounting system issues in a timely manner
  • Provide accounting guidance and updates on relevant financial topics
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the finance function


Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in finance/accounting within investment banking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial statements
  • Familiarity with credit and loan products
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications and financial systems
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output under minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities


Desired Skills

  • Experience in process automation and finance transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with SLA-driven environments and performance metrics
  • Exposure to financial systems and ERP tools
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
