Ritual Matcha Co. is a fast-growing brand bringing Japanese matcha to everyday rituals. We work closely with 300+ wholesale clients (e.g., café & bakeries), bringing traceable matcha from the top tea producers in Japan to the cups of consumers.

We also provide tailored white labeling solutions for matcha brands looking to differentiate their products. Our mission is to deliver high-quality matcha to partners while supporting their growth in the competitive market.

Role Description

• Conduct daily tasting and QA for all products produced with documented results
• Run tasting sessions to evaluate product pairings and applications (milk, water, sweeteners, etc.)
• Collaborate with cafes through site visits to develop recipes for various applications
• Develop custom matcha blends based on client requirements (taste, cost, use-case)
• Work closely with production to ensure product consistency and quality
• Support troubleshooting and recipe optimization for client formulations & use-cases

Qualifications

• Prior experience in café, bar, or R&D environments is a plus
• Strong interest in the coffee and matcha space
• Deep interest in beverage development, formulation methods and the F&B industry
• Detail-oriented in evaluating taste, consistency, and overall product quality
• Clear communicator, translating findings into well-structured reports
• Curious & proactive in exploring new processes to serve matcha in the best way possible (e.g., optimizing water variables, refining preparation technique, etc.)
• Conduct daily tasting and QA for all products produced with documented results
• Familiar with Research and Development (R&D) methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field is a plus
