RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

-INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Execute approved infrastructure and server operations, including:

• Virtual machine provisioning and lifecycle support
• Server patching, maintenance, and health checks
• Capacity and performance monitoring

Support infrastructure platforms hosted on:

• VMware or non-VMware hypervisors
• Azure IaaS environments where applicable

Identify operational issues, risks, or anomalies and escalate them to the Senior System Administrator for assessment and decision.

-MICROSOFT 365 and IDENTITY OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Support operational administration of Microsoft 365 services, including:

• Exchange Online
• Microsoft Teams
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

-VIRTUALIZATION AND PLATFORM EXECUTION- Perform routine virtual infrastructure tasks, including:

• VM creation, resizing, and decommissioning
• Snapshot coordination and storage assistance
• Support infrastructure transition activities (e.g., VMware migrations or platform changes) under the direction of the Senior Systems Administrator.
• Participate in maintenance windows, upgrades, and stabilization activities following infrastructure changes.

-COMPLIANCE OPERATIONAL SUPPORT - Support ISO27001 compliance activities by:

• Ensuring operational tasks follow approved controls
• Maintaining accurate execution records and audit evidence
• Supporting audits and compliance reviews as required

-AUTOMATION AND OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

• Develop and maintain basic PowerShell automation to support repetitive tasks and Microsoft 365/identity administration
• Ensure automation aligns with approved standards and documentation requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by reducing manual operational effort while

preserving security and auditability

-DOCUMENTATION AND OPERATIONAL CONTINUITY

• Maintain and update: operational runbooks; standard operating procedures (SOPs); as-built infrastructure and platform documentation
• Ensure documentation reflects current operational reality, supporting service continuity and audit readiness

-Performs other duties as may be assigned by the IT Manager and the Management team.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
2. Two (2) to Five (5) years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure support, systems administration, or technical operations
3. Technical skills and experience in:

• Windows Server operational administration
• Virtual infrastructure operations (VMware and/or Azure exposure)
• Microsoft 365 administration (operational level)
• Hybrid identity (Entra ID / AD) support experience
• Backup and recovery operations

4. Knowledge and experience in security and governance:

• Understanding of security fundamentals (least privilege, MFA)
• Experience operating within ISO27001 aligned environments preferred

5. Strong execution discipline with the ability to escalate issues appropriately

6. Documentation skills and mindset
