Job Purpose
The position is primarily responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling of deposits and other bank products to bank retail clients to attain revenue and profit targets set by the company and in adherence to the rules and regulations of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
Duties and Responsibilities
A. Planning and Direction-Setting
1. Develops and implements programs, business plans, and marketing strategies to attain revenue and profit targets.
2. Formulates the annual operating programs in line with overall corporate goals and objectives.
3. Develops long-term and short-term profitability/sales strategies and forecasts.
B. Bank Revenue Performance Monitoring
1. Oversees sales revenue and profitability of the assigned bank branch.
2. Endorse current account, savings, special savings and time deposit applications.
3. Refers loan clients to Lending Department. Offers Cash Management to Corporate clients.
4. Monitors profitability performance relative to operating plans, targets, strategies, and forecasts
5. Implements necessary actions to maximize profitability, maximize use of funds, manage cost of funds, and increase deposits.
C. Marketing and Business Development
1. Directs and coordinates promotion of products and services to develop new markets, increase
market share and attain competitive position in the industry.
2. Endorse promotional and advertising activities as part of the sales program of the bank branch.
D. Management Leadership
1. Recommends plans, programs, budget, and performance targets of the team.
2. Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities in the department to reach maximum level of
employee productivity throughout the workforce.
3. Provides upfront leadership in supervising all direct and indirect reports and planning for their
career advancement and aspirations.
4. Supervises and evaluates the performance of all direct reports.
5. Approves/schedules all vacation leaves of all direct reports.
E. Others
1. Participates actively during staff meetings, training programs and other professional
development work.
2. Makes recommendations on matters pertinent to sales operations and other related activities.
3. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Graduate of any business-related course; preferably with a master’s degree in Business Administration
Experience(s): At least five (5) years of work experience in branch banking operations preferably from savings or commercial banks
