Job descriptionSpecright is hiring a Salesforce Engineering Delivery Lead to build and lead our offshore Salesforce engineering organization. This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team of 6–10 Salesforce developers based in the Philippines, while staying hands-on in the platform yourself (roughly 50-60% of your time in code and architecture). Your team will span two workstreams that are critical to Specright's growth: implementation delivery on our Salesforce-native platform and ongoing managed services. You will report into the Sr. Manager of Technical Services and Integrations. This role is highly visible. You will be accountable for delivery quality, utilization, and margin contribution from your team, and for shaping how Specright scales its Salesforce engineering capability over the next two to three years, including Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE).Location and HoursThis role is 100% remote and based in the Philippines. You will need to overlap with US business hours (Pacific and Eastern) for leadership syncs, customer calls, and strategic-account work.Key Responsibilities:What You'll DoLead and grow the teamManage a team of 6-10 Salesforce engineers covering implementation, internal development, and strategic-account workOwn hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development for the Philippines engineering and managed services teamBuild the operating cadence – standups, code reviews, sprint planning, retros – that keeps a distributed team aligned with US-based leadership and customersCoach engineers on technical depth, customer communication, and delivery disciplineForecast capacity and utilization for your team in partnership with PS leadership; flag bench risk and pop-up demand earlyContribute to services margin goals through staffing decisions, productivity improvements, and reuseMaintain Certinia and project hygiene so that staffing, forecasting, and reporting reflect realityDeliver customer implementationsOwn end-to-end delivery quality across active implementation projects, partnering with the Director of Professional Services and Implementation Engineering Manager on scoping, staffing, and risk managementServe as the senior technical escalation point for complex Salesforce configuration, Apex, LWC, and integration challengesDrive on-time, on-scope delivery while protecting professional services margin targetsLead the team's internal Salesforce development roadmap, including Agentforce-based agents and automation that improve how Specright runs its own GTM and CS operationsPartner with Product and Software Engineering to evaluate when to build on the Salesforce platform versus a separate runtime, and make the trade-offs explicitEstablish reusable patterns, components, and accelerators that make the team faster on every subsequent projectSupport strategic accountsEmbed senior engineers from your team into strategic accounts (Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Caterpillar, and similar)Translate customer business problems into technical solutions on the Specright + Salesforce platform, and make sure those solutions feed back into product and reusable IPBuild trusted technical relationships with customer architects and IT leadersDevelop long-term vision for Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) servicesStay hands-on (50-60%)Personally architect and review the highest-complexity Salesforce solutions – Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integrations, data modelLead code reviews and set the technical bar for the teamContribute to deployment, CI/CD, and environment management practices (DEV → TEST → UAT → PROD)QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (Aura/LWC), and Visualforce3+ years leading Salesforce engineers, ideally in a SaaS or consulting environmentDemonstrated track record managing distributed or offshore teams that serve US-based customersDeep experience with Salesforce configuration: Flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, security modelStrong working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns, middleware, and data migrationExperience with version control (Git), Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience owning delivery in a professional services or implementation context, including utilization, margin, and project profitabilityExcellent written and verbal English communication; comfortable interfacing directly with enterprise customer stakeholdersPreferredSalesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, or higher)Hands-on exposure to Agentforce, Einstein, or other Salesforce AI capabilitiesExperience building reusable accelerators, frameworks, or managed packages on the Salesforce platformBackground working with global enterprise customers in supply chain, CPG, manufacturing, or packagingExperience contributing to a forward-deployed engineering or strategic-account modelWhy SpecrightEntrepreneurial culture.
