Which is where you come in. Working at Schneider Electric means working toward a cleaner, better world. You're part of a global team built on inclusion, mastery, purpose, action, curiosity, and teamwork, turning sustainability ambitions into actions. The Role: Test Engineering Manager The Test Engineering Manager is responsible for planning, directing and monitoring Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to strategically bridge the gap between NPD/Industrialization Team, Manufacturing Engineering and Equipment reliability. This role mainly focuses on optimizing Test processes, improving Yield, and maximizing Production equipment uptime through Predictive and Autonomous Maintenance initiatives. Responsibility includes making sure production ATE’s are following Test Specifications set by Design Engineers, and all Tester-related documentation is up to date. Responsibility includes strong NI LabVIEW and Test Stand skills, which involve overseeing the strategic implementation of LabVIEW-based automation, ensuring technical proficiency within the team, and aligning automated test development with project milestones. Key duties include defining automation strategies, managing hardware/software integration, updating documentation, and fostering expertise in LabVIEW for efficient and reliable production testing. The Manager leads technical teams, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures alignment with Schneider Electric’s standards and the Trust Charter. What will you do? Manage the maintenance department according to SPS/SIM rules to guarantee industrial equipment performance (OEE, NPF, MTBF, MTTR). Lead maintenance planning and execution in alignment with MPS outputs and IIT4 priorities. Optimize maintenance costs, including spare parts inventory and internal/external production means. Ensure business continuity in terms of equipment and tools. Enforce safety and health rules, including 5S standards, across all maintenance operations. Support facility management cost optimization and energy performance/decarbonization programs when UMF4 is not present. Maintain high equipment reliability and availability to support consistent production quality and customer satisfaction. Ensure preservation and proper functioning of tools and equipment to meet operational standards. Provide technical expertise to Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to support quality improvements. Lead cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being. Build and maintain a high-performing team capable of managing complex technical operations and maintenance programs. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Manage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across all processes to enhance workstation and production line reliability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, CMMS utilization, and technical problem-solving. Select, validate, introduce, and standardize new technologies and processes locally to improve efficiency and performance. Ensure adherence to standardized processes and plans that meet safety, quality, service, and cost requirements. Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to maintenance and facility operations.
