The Fund Oversight Team Lead is responsible for managing the oversight of third‑party service fund administrators/NAV Agents and lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate fund accounting, strong controls, and transparency across our retail investment products.
Position Responsibilities:
• Lead the team based in Manila providing oversight of fund administrators, NAV Agents/custodians
• Review and challenge NAV calculations, financial statements, reconciliations, and key fund deliverables
• Ensure compliance with fund governing documents and regulatory requirements
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Fund Oversight professionals
• Act as escalation point for operational issues, errors, and breaches
• Responsible for staff resourcing, and capacity management
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal governance reporting
• Drive continuous improvement in oversight processes and controls
• Represent the team in various strategic initiatives involving multiple local and onshore stakeholders
• Use appropriate judgment in dealing with issues and requests, demonstrating an ability to effectively prioritize work, balance resource requirements and determine solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or any related course
• CPA, CISI certification is preferred.
• At least 5-7 years relevant professional experience in Fund Accounting and/or Investment Operations
• At least 2-3 years in supervisory role
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook and Teams
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) in English
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Analytical, research and problem-solving skills
• Solid interpersonal skills to interact with, establish relationships with the Business Units and direct reports (coaching and mentoring)
• Makes decisions in the absence of rules and /or in complex situations
• Sound organizational and time management skills with the ability to be flexible to changing environments
• Ability to work independently and willing to collaborate with other team members
