Head of Data

Location: Makati
Work Setup: Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | Morning Shift

Job Summary
The Head of Data is responsible for leading the organization's overall data strategy, governance, and data management framework. This role ensures the integrity, security, and quality of data across the organization while enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation. The position also drives data science initiatives, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and delivers actionable insights to support business growth and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and lead the organization's data strategy and governance framework.
  • Establish policies for secure, ethical, and compliant data usage.
  • Ensure alignment of data initiatives with overall business objectives.

Data Management & Quality

  • Oversee data management systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Implement standards and processes to maintain high data quality and integrity.
  • Continuously improve data infrastructure and workflows.

Analytics & Data Science

  • Lead advanced data analytics initiatives to generate actionable business insights.
  • Apply data science methodologies for predictive analytics and innovation.
  • Support data-driven decision-making across departments.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor data teams and related functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
  • Communicate insights effectively to influence business strategy and decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in data governance, data management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience in data science and predictive analytics.
  • Proven leadership experience in building and executing data strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
