Overview


The Loyalty Retailer Engagement Specialist role is to expand DITO’s ecosystem of rewards. The role won't just be managing accounts; the candidate will be architecting a web of strategic alliances—from major national retailers to hyper-local community anchors—that make DITO loyalty program indispensable to its users. The ideal candidate understands that a great partnership is a "win-cubed": a win for the partner, a win for the business, and most importantly, a win for the customer.

Functions

  • Strategic Partner Acquisition
  • Identify, pitch, and close high-impact partnerships with retailers, lifestyle brands, and community organizations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and reward structures that drive user acquisition and retention.
  • Develop a "community-first" rewards, integrating local businesses to create a unique, grassroots value proposition.
  • Relationship Management & Optimization
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, ensuring seamless onboarding and long-term satisfaction.
  • Analyze partnership performance data (redemption rates, ROI, churn) to iterate on offer structures.
  • Conduct regular "health checks" with partners to align on marketing calendars and seasonal promotions.
  • Design and deliver high-energy training sessions for partners to ensure proper knowledge cascade about the loyalty program.
  • Coordinate the deployment of physical and digital Point of Sale (POS) materials that highlight loyalty program to ensure maximum visibility.
  • Program Strategy & Innovation
  • Collaborate with the Product, Marketing and Sales teams to integrate new rewards into the user interface.
  • Manage and execute "Trade-Incentive" programs that reward retailers/ partners and sales staff for hitting loyalty penetration targets.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in gamification, "surprise and delight" mechanics, and app/web loyalty integration.
  • Bridge the gap between digital rewards and physical retail experiences to create a seamless omnichannel journey.

Competencies & Skills:

  • Partner Acquisition Skills: Must move beyond simple "sales" and into ecosystem engineering. Needs the mindset to know the right "fit" for the brand and securing terms that are sustainable, scalable, and exclusive.


  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, from corporatelevel executives to independent store owners.


  • Channel Marketing Expertise: Knowledge of how to incentivize third-party retailers/ partners (brand partners, distributors, SM Cyberzone tenants, and sari-sari stores) to prioritize DITO Rewards over competitors.


  • Loyalty Lifecycle Management: Understanding the "Earn, Burn, and Churn" cycle.


  • Negotiation: Proven track record of closing B2B deals and managing complex contracts


  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Philippine retail landscape and digital payment trends (e-wallets, QR Ph, etc.).


Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience: 3+ years in Partnership Management, Merchant Acquisition, Business Development, or Loyalty Marketing. (Telco Experience is a Plus)
