Role overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive UAT Tester to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the QA Team Leader and other stakeholders to plan, prepare, and execute high-quality testing activities that support reliable software delivery. You will contribute across requirements analysis, test design, execution, defect management, reporting, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on business outcomes and customer impact.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the QA Team Leader to plan, prepare, and execute testing.
- Work as part of a QA team.
- Participate in requirements analysis.
- Liaise with the third-party development team and product owners to identify where tests and test plans are required.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and scripts using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Implement test case management and defect management.
- Create test cases in Gherkin format.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and review tests written by developers, providing feedback where needed.
- Document and communicate test progress, coverage, challenges, and results to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and automate the execution of tests where appropriate.
- Deliver testing to a high standard, with a strong focus on quality, timeliness, and customer outcomes.

Qualifications
Required skills and experience
- Willing to accept a 3-month full-time contract. Please note that we have an anti-moonlighting clause in place, meaning you will not be permitted to hold any other full-time or part-time employment during the contract period.
- Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- ISTQB certification is highly regarded but not required.
- At least 2 years experience in software quality assurance, with strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Hands-on experience with functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, UAT testing, end-to-end testing, and exploratory testing.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand software systems in an agile development environment.
- Working experience with ticketing and defect management tools such as Jira.
- Experience providing QA status and progress reports.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, and SDLC.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver to deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience testing Salesforce platforms or applications
- Experience with Test Automation and use of AI (any tools)
