Senior Auditor (AU) Learning

Job Overview:

The Senior Auditor, Learning is responsible for supporting the Audit Professional Practice Department (APPD) in delivering high-quality audit and assurance outcomes by contributing to audit quality initiatives, developing learning programs, and maintaining audit resources in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule:

• 7:00am to 4:00pm

Work Setup:

• Hybrid
• Work onsite for the first week
• Twice a month onsite schedule

Office Assignment:

• MAKATI OFFICE: 22F Tower 1, One Ayala Corporate Center, Ayala Ave., Makati City

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct support in the maintenance of audit resources, guidance, policies, and procedures
• Maintain libraries of tools and templates to support engagement teams, promoting audit quality and efficiency
• Perform testing procedures on audit tools, library tests, and audit software to support quality outcomes
• Apply technical knowledge in the authoring and maintenance of audit quality resources
• Contribute to the implementation of ongoing audit quality initiatives
• Assist APPD team members in monitoring and remediation processes, including inspection programs and compliance activities
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on learning activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies
• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of learning content to support audit quality initiatives
• Apply instructional design principles to develop engaging and practical learning materials aligned with adult learning practices
• Support the translation of audit methodology, standards, and quality findings into structured learning materials and guidance
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure learning content is accurate and fit for purpose
• Assist in the continuous improvement of learning materials based on feedback, monitoring outcomes, and inspection findings

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS Accountancy graduate or a related discipline
• CA or CPA qualified with membership of a relevant professional body
• 4–6 years’ experience in audit and assurance services (preferably within a professional services firm)
• Strong understanding of auditing standards (e.g., ISAs), accounting standards (IASB), and professional ethics (IESBA Code)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and work independently
• Excellent organisational skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience in learning and development initiatives within a professional services or audit environment
• Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
• Experience developing learning content across multiple formats (e.g., e-learning, workshops, job aids) • Ability to translate technical audit content into clear, practical learning materials
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning analytics is desirable
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Understanding of regulatory and professional learning requirements relevant to audit and assurance
• Experience in audit quality initiatives, monitoring, and remediation processes is desirable
• Positive attitude with a proactive, team-oriented approach to work
