Educational Background
• Electrical Engineering Degree

• Minimum of 5 years design experience in an electrical power systems business.
• Fluent in English, a second language would be an advantage. Desired Skills

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD
• Experience in electrical engineering tools/software such as DigSILENT Power Factory, ETAP or EasyPower.

Roles and Responsibilities
Purpose of the Job Preparation of project specific designs and supporting technical documentation for inclusion in sales bids, detailed design phase and Operational projects.
Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities
• Perform power system studies such as load flow, short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop analysis.
• Ensure design comply with relevant codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, local regulations)
• Preparation of project shop drawings (one-line diagrams, layout drawings, and other detailed drawing required for project execution) using CAD software.
• Preparation of Project Design Pack documentation for inclusion in sales proposals.
• Liaise with client’s technical staff and visit potential job sites, as required, to verify project needs.
• Advise Sales team on project specific design issues and propose engineering solutions.
• Design power packages to suit project needs and maximise use of Aggreko fleet products.
• Design and specification of specialist electrical equipment in conjunction with AMEAPAC Engineering team.
• Gives engineering assistance as required to Operational Projects.
• Prepare project documentation, bill of materials, and as-built drawings.
• Collaborate with Engineering Team on design support requirements for the complete project life cycle.
