Data Analyst (Mid-Level) - Office Based (Clark, Pampanga)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong background in banking and financial services. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business data, generating reports, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a "fixer" mindset, and can confidently work with large datasets while maintaining a strong understanding of business operations and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support business decisions

· Create, maintain, and improve operational, financial, and performance reports

· Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvement initiatives

· Develop dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to support stakeholders

· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports

· Investigate discrepancies and proactively recommend solutions

· Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements

· Translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations

· Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis activities

· Continuously improving reporting processes and efficiencies

Requirements

· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role

· Previous experience within the banking, finance, lending, mortgage, or financial services industry

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:

o Pivot Tables

o VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

o Complex formulas

o Data analysis and reporting

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

· Ability to interpret large volumes of data and provide business recommendations

· Strong understanding of business operations and financial metrics

· Proactive and self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools

· Experience within Australian, US, or international financial services environments

· Knowledge of financial reporting, risk analysis, and performance management

· Experience working in a BPO, shared services, or client-facing environment
