Senior Legal Manager | Legal & Corporate Governance (Healthcare BPO)

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Legal Manager to lead our Legal and Corporate Governance function within a fast-growing Healthcare BPO environment.

This is a corporate legal role focused on overseeing Manila-based legal operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening governance frameworks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all legal matters for the Manila operations, including corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues
• Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership on business decisions, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements
• Oversee corporate governance practices, ensuring adherence to local laws, industry regulations, and internal policies
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership arrangements
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and BPO-specific legal requirements
• Manage and mentor the local legal team, fostering high performance and professional development
• Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders as needed
• Support audits, investigations, and dispute resolution matters

Qualifications:

• Licensed lawyer in the Philippines
• Proven experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within a BPO or shared services environment
• Strong background in managing legal teams
• Solid knowledge of Philippine corporate law, labor law, and healthcare-related regulations
• Demonstrated experience in corporate governance and compliance frameworks
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare or healthcare BPO industry
• Familiarity with data privacy and international compliance standards
