Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate bookkeeping, financial analysis, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US accounting standards.
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and expense reports.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data and reporting accuracy.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks and provide support during audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Yardi, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite and on a fixed night shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central time).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with US-based clients or companies.
• Understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
