Your Role:
As an IT Service Desk Officer, you will:
- Resolve incidents and service requests efficiently while ensuring adherence to service delivery standards and response targets.
- Provide clear and timely communication to customers throughout the lifecycle of incidents and requests.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and subject matter experts to achieve timely issue resolution and request fulfillment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing IT guidance, support, and assistance with systems and applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while ensuring satisfaction before ticket closure.
- Contribute to knowledge management initiatives, self-help documentation, and continuous service improvement activities.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-site IT support or Service Desk environment.
- Prior experience working within the BPO industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience using Service Desk management platforms such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, ManageEngine, or similar enterprise ticketing systems.
- Understanding of ITIL service delivery principles and best practices.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Experience supporting users across Australian and New Zealand regions.
- Experience mentoring, training, or coaching colleagues and end users.
- Knowledge of SharePoint administration and support.
- Exposure to Cisco Call Manager and Citrix environments.
- Diploma, certificate, or tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
