Planning & Operations Assistant

The Planning & Operations Assistant ensures the smooth, timely, and cost‑efficient flow of products through the entire production cycle. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to align with business needs and sales projections.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop production tasks and schedules based on sales forecasts.
• Plan material requirements to support production schedules.
• Prepare production assembly orders in NAV for all planned runs.
• Create purchase request orders for required materials.
• Monitor production execution and resolve issues promptly.
• Investigate production problems, analyze root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Track inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Coordinate production schedules with Toll Manufacturers.
• Collaborate with quality control, EMP, purchasing, warehouse, and other teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain accurate reports on production planning activities and sequences.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in production planning, operations, or supply chain management (manufacturing industry experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and material requirements planning (MRP).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NAV or similar) and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to fast‑paced environments.
