Housekeeping Supervisor

Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and guest satisfaction. The role provides leadership, guidance, and training to Housekeeping Associates, monitors productivity and service quality, conducts inspections, coordinates maintenance requirements, and ensures compliance with company policies, operating standards, and environmental sustainability initiatives. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, fostering a positive team environment, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants to ensure efficient housekeeping operations
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with brand standards
• Monitor staffing levels, productivity, and work schedules based on occupancy forecasts and operational requirements
• Lead daily briefings and assign priorities to ensure timely completion of housekeeping tasks
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to support continuous improvement and service excellence
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, health and safety regulations, and guest service standards
• Monitor room status, VIP arrivals, room discrepancies, and expected departures to ensure operational readiness
• Coordinate with Engineering and other departments to address maintenance concerns and guest requests promptly
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records, reports, logbooks, staff rosters, and inventory documentation
• Investigate and report operational incidents, guest concerns, and service issues, implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Ensure housekeeping equipment, supplies, and linen inventories are properly maintained and utilized
• Support emergency response procedures and contribute to a safe environment for guests and employees
• Promote environmental sustainability initiatives and participate in company-led community and environmental programs
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
