Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the company's accounting operations. The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with solid experience in the retail industry and a strong background in financial reporting, compliance, process improvement, and team leadership. Experience working in a start-up or rapidly growing organization is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other government regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
• Mentor and supervise accounting team members to achieve departmental objectives.
• Support management with financial analysis and strategic business recommendations.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager within the Retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in start-up companies or fast-growing organizations.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
