Job Purpose:

Financial Operations (Accounting) Manager is responsible for the daily execution of accounting tasks to ensure all accounting records are accurate and up to date.

This role focuses on operations oversight resolving operational bottlenecks and supporting process improvements to keep the accounting team running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise the accounting team

2. Month-end Close Reporting and Audit Management

Own monthly quarterly and annual year-end close for the company entities

Deliver timely and accurate close based on month-end closing calendar

Ensure review and closure of audit findings

3. Balance Sheet Integrity

Own Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiation discipline

Oversee and review NetSuite (ERP) reconciliations

Identify balance sheet and accounting risks early and escalate with mitigation plans

Partner with FP&A (Financial Controller) to ensure working capital accuracy and visibility

4. Accounting Process Standardization

Own Accounting control requirements within ERP processes

Standardize close processes templates and reconciliations

Reduce manual workarounds and eliminate control weaknesses

5. Team Leadership

Manage lead and develop a team of 4-5 team members under Accounting team fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement

100% Accounting Close On-time following Month-end / Year-end Calendar

100% Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation (AP AR Cash)

Prevention / Reduction of manual journal entry corrections and accounting audit findings

Accounting team Capability Building

Who are We Looking For

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline

- Professional Accounting qualification is an advantage (e.g. CPA or equivalent)

- 4-6 years of progressive Accounting experience with at least 1 year team leadership experience

- Proficiency in ERP (Experience in NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel proficiency

- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards

- Excellent attention to detail Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex accounting data to non-accounting stakeholders

- Great communication skills and comfortable working with cross-functional teams

Working hours: 50 work hours/week

Salary: up to Php150000
