Client is seeking a detail-oriented Lead Generation Assistant to research and compile targeted homeowner lists for a direct mail prospecting campaign. This is a research and list-building role. The assistant will focus on identifying homeowners matching specific criteria and compile their names and mailing addresses. The agent will handle all outreach (mail and/or calls) personally in this initial phase, with potential for the assistant to take on outreach support (cold calling, follow-up) as the engagement grows. This is not an entry level job opportunity. We need a staff that can help build a list of leads from day one.
Research and compile lists of homeowners within a specified zip code who match defined criteria (age, length of residence, home value)
Source accurate names and current mailing addresses for each qualifying property
Use available tools and public/professional resources (e.g., LinkedIn, Google Maps, property/public records resources) to verify homeowner information
Organize and deliver lead lists in a clean, usable format (e.g., spreadsheet) for the agent's direct mail campaigns
Apply qualifying filters consistently and flag any addresses where criteria cannot be fully confirmed
As the engagement grows, potentially support outbound follow-up (calls or email) to cold and warm leads generated from mail responses or inbound CRM leads
Proven experience building targeted lead/contact lists, ideally including residential or property-related research
Strong research skills and resourcefulness in sourcing names and addresses through publicly available tools and platforms
Comfortable working with LinkedIn (Sales Navigator experience a plus) and Google Maps for research purposes
High attention to detail and accuracy, given the criteria-based nature of the list (age, home value, residence length)
Strong organizational skills; able to deliver clean, well-structured lists on a regular schedule
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
Prior experience in real estate lead generation or direct mail prospecting
Familiarity with public records, property data resources, or postal/address verification resources
Cold calling or lead follow-up experience, in case the role expands to include outreach support
Familiarity with real estate CRMs (e.g., Lofty) a plus
