Senior E&I Inspector (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and surveillance of Electrical & Instrumentation construction and installation activities.
• Inspect power distribution systems including 33kV, 11kV, 3.3kV, and 415V systems, switchgear, control gear, distribution boards, UPS, earthing, lighting, and cathodic protection systems.
• Verify installation of underground cabling, lighting, small power systems, and instrumentation works.
• Witness and review inspection, testing, commissioning, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and QA/QC requirements.
• Review quality records, identify non-conformances, and verify corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of inspection experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
• Proven experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of: Power Distribution Systems (33kV, 11kV, 3.3kV & 415V) Switchgear, UPS, Distribution Boards Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems Underground Cabling Cathodic Protection Systems Instrumentation and Control Systems
• Familiar with international standards including ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO, and BS.
• Experience witnessing and reviewing FAT/SAT activities.
• COMPEX or ATEX Certification is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.

Preferred: Experience in refinery, petrochemical, LNG, EPC, and major Oil & Gas construction projects.
